I was speechless and quite overcome when my niece unwrapped the print of Hamer Girl 2 we had bought for her 21st birthday present. I was not prepared for the overwhelming feeling I would have. I purchased a hand signed and numbered print of Hamer Girl 2, accompanied with a Certificate of Authenticity in 2020, after having seen the original painting at the gallery in Havelock. I was unable to afford the original so was delighted when prints become available. The beauty of this work astounds me, as being a photographer I originally thought that was what I was viewing. The print has pride of place in the lounge at my home and has been much admired. I recommend everyone to go and see for themselves Rebekah's amazing talent.

I bought a print for a friends Birthday as we had seen the paintings in the The Gallery Havelock together and she had been blown away when we first saw the work. I ordered online and the entire process was super easy and the print arrived in just a couple of days. When I gave my friend the print she was overwhelmed and absolutely loved it. The print is stunning, would recommend for anyone looking for a thoughtful gift or wanting a print that will bring you joy!

This piece of work by Rebekah Codlin is a feature in our home. Displayed in the entranceway it is one of the most commented on art works we own. From the detailed way Rebekah has captured this image, to the essence of the name also displayed in the print - Matumaini (Hope) - this will be forever be treasured by generations of our family to come.

Several years ago I purchased the print “Hamer Girl” part of the Ethiopia Series. It took me ages to decide on her as I really loved so many of the other portraits too. However I felt Rebekah had captured the young girls soul and I love the way the light shines on her face.

Just a follow up on the “Story Time” print we purchased off you some 2 years ago. It holds pride of place in our dinning room. We have had multiple people for dinner over the years and they all comment on the Story Time print. The comments mainly refer to how life like the print is and some think its actually a photo. The blue eyes are a favourite as well. I will certainly be purchasing another one of your prints as a present for my wife. Once again thankyou.

We have a few pieces of art by local artists and whilst we were unable to purchase the original piece we were taken by the "reality" of the work that Rebekah creates and are so happy that we have a piece of art that we love. Art is such a personal journey for the artist, so finding something that you as the buyer must have and want to enjoy everyday, is something that we found in "Charlotte 2". We hope that you also see what we have found in Rebekah's work.
